18 Century Chinese Jade Carved Plaque & Belt Hook Silver Hand Mirror, Signed H K. The mirror is silver plate with engraved decoration and is signed by the maker HK on the handle. It has a fine, large relief carved jade plaque and a carved jade dragon garment hook handle. The mirror plaque and belt hook look to be original to the piece. Size: The overall length is 10. The plaque alone measures approx. 5 1/2 wide by by 4 1/2 The belt hook measures approx. 5 1/4 long by 1 1/4 wide. I dont see any damage to it and I tried to scratch both the handle and mirror with a very sharp knife and there was no marks. The Jade handle is a little lighter then the Jade mirror. Condition: Part’s of the mirror has some wear to it as shown in the pictures. The mirror has wear consistent with it s age. The plaque and belt hook is in excellent condition, with only age appropriate wear. Please see all photos as they are an integral part of the description.
