This vintage brass builders plate came from an H K Porter 0-4-0. It is in the condition it was in when removed from the locomotive. I have not cleaned it. Nice piece of historic railroadiana! RARE FIND FROM COLLECTORS ESTATE!!! This is a unique opportunity to own an ANTIQUE BRASS ROTARY VALVE CORNET / TRUMPET / HORN INSTRUMENT. BRASS LABEL STAMPED A. BOHEMIA” is the only identification I found on it other than the number “9 stamped on the valves. The mouthpiece appears to be particularly ornate with what seems to be hand carvings. PLEASE REFER TO THE PICTURES WHICH I BELIEVE SHOW THE DETAILS AND CONDITION. If you need or want additional or specific pictures please ask and I will respond. Though I do not play it appears to work and the valves each turn when pressed though I suspect a through cleaning and recondition of this fine antique instrument would be performed by the collector who recognizes the unique aspects and value of it.
