Boker Knives released this knife around the 50th anniversary of Heckler & Koch, only 500 were made. This knife is 101 out of 500 – the number is stamped into liner lock. Boker only released a few knives that year for the anniversary. The African Macassar handles were made by Karl Nill, the same company that does the wood handles for the P7 and other HK pistols. The wood was imported to Germany from Africa. This HK model is a liner-lock folding damascus knife. The knife is a limited edition with a 300 layer Damascus tanto blade forged by Manfred Sachse and built in Solingen Germany. The display case is made out of burlwood. Blade length is 3 and over all length is 8 and 4 ¾ when folded. This item is new never used with original paperwork and display wood case – but sadly, no cardboard box, thus the wood case does show some storage ware.
