Safariland® 7305 ALS®/SLS 7TST Thigh Rig Holster with Quick-Release Leg Strap, Right Hand. For USP COMPACT 9MM. 40 / USP9C USP40C. (Compact models DAO Bobbed Hammer). Model: 7305 7TST ALS®/SLS Tactical Holster with Quick Release. ALS (Automatic Locking System) secures weapon once holstered, simple straight up draw once release is deactivated. SLS (Self Locking System) rotating hood. A proprietary nylon blend that is completely non-abrasive to a firearm’s finish. Raised stand-off surfaces in the interior of the holster create air space around the weapon allowing dirt and moisture to quickly clear any contact with the firearm. Very high heat and low cold tolerances structurally sound from 300F to -50F. Can be submerged in water indefinitely and still maintain shape and function. Standard double strap leg shroud with mounting holes for optional accessories. Adjustable vertical leg strap with quick-release detachable leg harness. Matte finish designed to decrease reflection and can be maintained with a simple scouring pad. CHECK OUT MY OTHER STUFF! This model is constructed of the innovative SafariSeven material, a unique nylon blend from DuPont. SafariSeven is highly durable and practically impervious to the elements. This holster features the Automatic Locking System (ALS). Once the weapon is holstered, it locks into place. When the ALS is de-activated by the thumb, a simple straight up draw is used. LEATHER HOLSTERS: One of the common messages I get is about how tight a leather holster is when you first get it. You have to break in a leather holster. Some holster makers are able to get close to perfection, but you usually pay 3-digit prices for those. One method I enjoy is wrapping the pistol, unloaded, in a plastic wrap or bag and stuffing (actually pushing) that into the holster leaving it in overnight or for a few days. IF you are not prepared for your ccw carry gun to have nicks and marks from leather and/or kydex wear then do not carry that gun or do not carry at all; your head is in the wrong place for it.
