Please check the product description for more information. Safariland Model 6280 SLS Mid-Ride Level II Retention Duty Holster Black Plain 93 Right 6280-93-61. The Safariland Model 6280 holster is the base model of Self Locking System (SLST) series of holsters. It includes a unique rotating hood design. This holster also features a Universal Belt Loop that mounts on a 2 or 2.25 Duty Belt. With no snap, the Safariland 6280 holster’s SLST design allows for a smoother single-motion draw and greater protection against attempted weapon takeaways. The hood can only be released by being simultaneously pushed down and rotated forward and actually becomes more secure when upward force is applied. It is also far less likely to release accidentally than conventional thumb break snaps. The 6280 holster features a tensioning device, which, when firmly adjusted becomes a Level III RetentionT holster. GUN DRAW HAND: Right. ALS® (Automatic Locking System) secures weapon once holstered; simple straight up draw. Once release is deactivated. Open-top design without SLS for quick retrieval of weapon. Optional ALS Guard available for increasing level of security by one to a Level II RetentionT. Made of SafariSevenT, which is a proprietary nylon blend that is completely non-abrasive to a firearm’s finish. Raised stand-off surfaces in holster’s interior creates air space around the weapon, allowing dirt and moisture to quickly clear any contact with the firearm. Very high heat and low cold tolerances; structurally sound from 300° F to -50° F. Simple straight up draw once all releases are deactivated. 2.25 inch (58mm) belt slots. The ALS (automatic locking system) activates once the weapon is holstered. It keeps the firearm securely locked in place in the holster. This open top holster features the Automatic Locking System (ALS), an internal locking device that retains the weapon in all directions with no straps or snaps to manipulate. Once the weapon is holstered, it locks into place. The holster is completely operable with the thumb and once the ALS is de-activated a simple straight up draw is used.
