Constructed from SafariSeven, the holster is built to withstand the elements, including extremes of heat and cold. In addition, the holster retains its structural integrity even when submersed indefinitely. On the inside of the holster, the SafariSeven material is non-abrasive to protect your firearm’s finish. This is a genuine US Military surplus Safariland 6004SS-56 holster and single strap leg shroud with the quick release QLS system. New in nice, clean, original packaging. Safariland originally designed this to fit the Springfield Armory 1911 Operator Pistol without a light (5 barrel, full rail). However, these holsters were ordered by the USMC for use with the MARSOC M45A1 CQCP Pistol, and other custom 1911 builds that the Marines used. The holster has a QLS-19 attachment, and the leg shroud has a QLS-22 attachment. The holster has the stamping: 6004SS-56 SPRGFD OPERA 115. Safariland part number 6004SS-56-761-SP10-MS30-NH. Note: the last photo shows what the M45A1 looks like in a 6004SS-56 holster. The pistol is not included. If you are not happy with the item, then send it back.
