The grips are polished to achieve a tremendous glossy surface that brings out the true grain of the natural wood. The grips are checkered and textured within a sharply defined border, with the portion outside the border left smooth and a “slash” banner separating the two areas. These grips are easily installed, with your original grip screw and backside cuts used to correctly locate them on your gun prior to securing them. These grips are simply outstanding when fitted to a gun, and there aren’t any photos that really do these grips justice as they are simply beautiful. The grips aren’t varnished, but finished with a fine oil to enhance the beauty of the wood and preserve it as well.
