Safariland Retention Holster STX Tactical Right Hand For Glock 17 6390-832-131
This open top holster features the Automatic Locking System (ALS), an internal locking device that retains the weapon in all directions with no straps or snaps to manipulate. Once the weapon is holstered, it locks into place. The holster is completely operable with the thumb and once the ALS is de-activated a simple straight up draw is used. Features a mid-ride belt loop that rides close to the body, and a suede lining to protect the gun’s sights and finish. For Glock 17 w/ ITI M3, TLR-1, TLR-1HL, SureFire X200/X300/X300U, Inforce APL, Nightstick TWM-350, TWM-350S, TWM-850, TWM-850S; Glock 22 w/ ITI M3, TLR-1, TLR-1HL, SureFire X200/X300/X300U, Inforce APL, Nightstick TWM-350, TWM-350S, TWM-850, TWM-850S. The SCS-VP9-GR (Solar Charging Sight) is designed for the H&K VP9 optics ready handguns. It is designed to attach directly to the slide without an adapter plate and uses our innovative solar charging system with multi-directional light sensors to automatically adjust brightness in dynamic situations. The SCS can potentially operate indefinitely using an internal, rechargeable 20,000-hour battery meaning under even moderate exposure to bright light, you will never need to change batteries again. The SCS also includes an intensity override function which locks the optic into a high brightness mode for 30 minutes and a low power indicator which warns of low battery days before charging is needed. Sapphire Window – Each Trijicon tritium lamp is capped with a sapphire jewel which helps to evenly distribute the light from the tritium lamp as well as protect it from solvents and puncture. All Bright & Tough Night Sights feature a white ring around the glowing dots for daylight visibility. Contains and protects the tritium gas filled lamps from heavy recoil and harsh cleaning solvents. SAFARILAND 6395 ALS HOLSTER. Condition is “New with tags”. For H&K P2000 M3 or X300U or STREAMLIGHT TLR-1 ATTACHED. This is the Safariland 6395 ALS level I holster, the key to this system is an internal locking device that secures the weapon in all directions simply upon re-holstering, providing Level I Retention. Additionally this holster with this ergonomic design is completely operable with the thumb making training easy, and the straight up draw makes it very instinctive to use, yet difficult for an assailant’s attempted takeaway. And finally, once the retention devices are released, the weapon can be drawn straight out of the holster with no twisting or other unnatural motion required. ALS (Automatic Locking System) secures weapon once holstered. Low-ride UBL (universal belt loop) for close-to-body ride. Open-top design without SLS HOOD for quick retrieval of weapon. Simple straight up draw once all releases are de-activated. Fits 2.25 (58mm) belts. CHECK OUT MY OTHER STUFF! Most holsters I sell are molded from the exact model which makes errors nonexistent. Different brands require more break in than others. Breaking in a good leather holster is mandatory for it to function; when it is new you may not be able to draw the firearm from it as quickly as you might need it or at all. After you have checked the holster for suitability and broken it in correctly, then you can bet your life that it will hold the gun securely, protect the gun from inadvertent access, and allow you to get the gun quickly when you need it. There are plenty of articles online for breaking in a leather holster. I get many messages about the thumb snap (if applicable). The thumb snap is difficult to get snapped on many holsters when you first get it. You have to work leather. Bottom line, if you get it and it is not fitting the high percentage of time is that you have not seated it fully or worked it fully. LEATHER HOLSTERS: One of the common messages I get is about how tight a leather holster is when you first get it. You have to break in a leather holster. Some holster makers are able to get close to perfection, but you usually pay 3-digit prices for those. One method I enjoy is wrapping the pistol, unloaded, in a plastic wrap or bag and stuffing (actually pushing) that into the holster leaving it in overnight or for a few days. IF you are not prepared for your ccw carry gun to have nicks and marks from leather and/or kydex wear then do not carry that gun or do not carry at all; your head is in the wrong place for it. Thanks for looking, Big Mike. If you are purchasing a holster, please make sure you have a proper gun belt. All holsters should be worn with a proper gun belt. Also, all holsters should be worn with the belt fully tightened, but not uncomfortable. Never wear your holster loose, or without a proper gun belt. Please let us know if you have anything different about your handgun that might be a issue with a holster. Examples might be tall sights or anything else you have as a add on or custom edition. This may impede your ability to use the holster as most holsters I sell are custom molded for factory height sights and options.
