SAFARILAND 6395 ALS HOLSTER. Condition is “New with tags”. For H&K P2000 M3 or X300U or STREAMLIGHT TLR-1 ATTACHED. This is the Safariland 6395 ALS level I holster, the key to this system is an internal locking device that secures the weapon in all directions simply upon re-holstering, providing Level I Retention. Additionally this holster with this ergonomic design is completely operable with the thumb making training easy, and the straight up draw makes it very instinctive to use, yet difficult for an assailant’s attempted takeaway. And finally, once the retention devices are released, the weapon can be drawn straight out of the holster with no twisting or other unnatural motion required. ALS (Automatic Locking System) secures weapon once holstered. Low-ride UBL (universal belt loop) for close-to-body ride. Open-top design without SLS HOOD for quick retrieval of weapon. Simple straight up draw once all releases are de-activated. Fits 2.25 (58mm) belts. CHECK OUT MY OTHER STUFF! Most holsters I sell are molded from the exact model which makes errors nonexistent. Different brands require more break in than others. Breaking in a good leather holster is mandatory for it to function; when it is new you may not be able to draw the firearm from it as quickly as you might need it or at all. After you have checked the holster for suitability and broken it in correctly, then you can bet your life that it will hold the gun securely, protect the gun from inadvertent access, and allow you to get the gun quickly when you need it. There are plenty of articles online for breaking in a leather holster. I get many messages about the thumb snap (if applicable). The thumb snap is difficult to get snapped on many holsters when you first get it. You have to work leather. Bottom line, if you get it and it is not fitting the high percentage of time is that you have not seated it fully or worked it fully. LEATHER HOLSTERS: One of the common messages I get is about how tight a leather holster is when you first get it. You have to break in a leather holster. Some holster makers are able to get close to perfection, but you usually pay 3-digit prices for those. One method I enjoy is wrapping the pistol, unloaded, in a plastic wrap or bag and stuffing (actually pushing) that into the holster leaving it in overnight or for a few days. IF you are not prepared for your ccw carry gun to have nicks and marks from leather and/or kydex wear then do not carry that gun or do not carry at all; your head is in the wrong place for it. Also, all holsters should be worn with the belt fully tightened, but not uncomfortable. Never wear your holster loose, or without a proper gun belt.
