Their second-generation R3D night sights are engineered to give you a brighter, stronger set of sights. Easily install their sights with a set that requires 50% less force for installation. R3D sights are built to withstand years of EDC use and abuse. The set drives focus downrange using a serrated blacked-out rear sight and a dual-illuminated glow photoluminescent front sight. R3D sights are the brightest notch and post option for fast and accurate shooting in bright and low light. Fits VP9 Optics Ready. Glow lamp in front and rear sight glows in low light/no light. High-contrast colored front sight. Glow Dot absorbs ambient light and glows in low light. Serrated rear sight to reduce glare. BlackNitride finish for wear and corrosion resistance. Sapphire Window – Each Trijicon tritium lamp is capped with a sapphire jewel which helps to evenly distribute the light from the tritium lamp as well as protect it from solvents and puncture. All Bright & Tough Night Sights feature a white ring around the glowing dots for daylight visibility. Contains and protects the tritium gas filled lamps from heavy recoil and harsh cleaning solvents. Each sight is manufactured to fit specific handgun makes and models. Gives additional shock protection to tritium filled glass lamps within the aluminum housing. Tritium lamp is warrantied to illuminate for 5 years on orange lamps, 12 years on green and yellow lamps from date of original manufacture.
