For sale is a used in great condition OEM USP 9mm full size barrel chambered for 9 x 19mm luger. The barrel retains it’s protective finish and there is slight blemish on areas of barrel and feed ramp. These markings are from normal operation but is purely cosmetic and does not impede the functioning of the barrel. Heckler and Koch OEM parts use a special finish on their barrels and slides which is called the Hostile Environment finish which sits three layers deep and protects parts from damage and corrosion. This finish is much more effective and has higher resistance than traditional bluing. The blemishes shown are from the cosmetic layer and are normally out of view during operation. As a result of the finish, the barrel is incredibly resistant to round count, corrosive environments, erosion and abuse. This is the reasoning behind HKs renowned reputation. This specific barrel only saw range use and has under 6k rounds. The rifling is well maintained and sharp. There is no visible signs of pitting nor erosion. HK Barrels have seen up to repeated 30k round counts before groups opening.
